Stephanie Flores Reyes

Legal Intern

Stephanie Flores Reyes is a third-year law student at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She is weaving her academic journey with a strong commitment to social justice and community service.

Originally from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, her unique background significantly shapes her legal aspirations and has profoundly influenced her commitment to positively impacting immigration law. Her firsthand experience has instilled in her an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families navigating the complexities of immigration. This personal connection has fueled her passion to dedicate her life to helping her community through the practice of immigration law. Stephanie actively contributes to the legal community at the University of Oklahoma, engaging with the Latinx Law Student Association to promote diversity and inclusion within the legal field. Her involvement in the Animal Legal Defense Fund showcases her broader commitment to advocacy, while her participation in the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal highlights her academic prowess in critical legal sectors. Throughout her academic journey, Stephanie has translated her passion into action through internships at renowned institutions. From the Center for Constitutional Rights to the National Immigrant Justice Center, the Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation, and the Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to justice, legal access, and representation for vulnerable communities.

As Stephanie navigates her final year of law school, she is poised to combine her academic excellence, diverse experiences, and personal background to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession.
