Esther Schaefer brings over four decades of experience in Financial Planning Operations, cost accounting, and nonprofit bookkeeping to her role as Bookkeeper at Justice for all Immigrants (JFAI). A graduate of Instituto Motolinía de Comercio Bilingüe in Mexico, Esther began her career in banking and steadily advanced into leadership positions, including Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase Bank.

Throughout her career, Esther has provided financial and administrative support to various nonprofit organizations and community groups, managing bookkeeping systems, preparing tax filings, and ensuring fiscal compliance. Her work has been pivotal in maintaining transparency and accountability across multiple programs and departments.

A dedicated professional who is bilingual in Spanish and English, Esther is proud to support immigrant communities through her work with JFAI. Her attention to detail, integrity, and decades of experience strengthen the organization’s mission of delivering trustworthy legal services with compassion.
