Esther Oni-Carew

Esther received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.

Prior to working with JFAI, Esther interned for various immigration nonprofit and private practices in the Houston area. While there, Esther gained invaluable experience working on a variety of immigration cases, including family-based, humanitarian relief, and participated in naturalization workshops where she helped clients fill out their N-400 forms.

Esther joins JFAI as a staff attorney to assist eligible clients with their citizenship and naturalization process. Before starting her legal career, Esther worked in education as a college readiness assistant director for six years and as a classroom teacher for two years. She is fluent in Yoruba. She is learning Spanish and Hindi.
