My Dream of Serving in the Air Force

After enduring abandonment and dangers in Honduras, Amy found hope through JFAI upon relocating to San Antonio. Not only did she receive essential legal aid, but she also embarked on a path to a brighter future.

With the swift and professional efforts of JFAI's team, Amy's Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) case was expedited, securing a judge's signature right before her 18th birthday. JFAI also helped close her immigration court case, paving her way to permanent residency.

Today, Amy looks forward to obtaining her high school diploma. "I can now see my dream of serving in the Air Force," she shares. Her aspirations include graduating with honors and, one day, starting her own family. She encourages those hesitant to seek help, emphasizing JFAI's role as a haven that fosters success. "JFAI provided amazing support, making me feel secure. You will be safe," she assures.
