Faustina, a mother of three from Guatemala, found the courage to escape years of abuse and rebuild her life with the help of JFAI. From filing her asylum case to receiving her first work permit, she now looks toward a future of stability, safety, and hope for her daughters.


Surviving Abuse: Zhara’s Path to Protection
Zhara fled an arranged marriage only to face abuse and removal proceedings in the U.S. With JFAI’s support through a VAWA petition, she closed her case and secured permanent residency. Today, she is safe, free to work, travel, and rebuild her life.


Sami's Courage to Break the Silence
After surviving an abusive relationship, Sami turned to JFAI for help. Now, with his VAWA application approved, he’s one step closer to living a safe, independent life in the U.S.
